Terms of Use for the “My Auto” App
Effective date: 18 September 2026
1. General provisions
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the “My Auto” mobile application (“App”), developed by Ravil Novruzov (“Developer”, “we”, “us”).
By installing, opening, using the App, or purchasing a subscription, the user (“User”, “you”) confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or purchase a subscription.
The App is distributed through the App Store. Your license to use the App is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement for applications, unless otherwise stated in the App Store or in a separate license agreement. Apple’s and App Store rules also apply to purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and subscription management.
The App’s Privacy Policy is available at: https://igasich95.github.io/myautoapp/privacy-en.html.
2. Purpose of the App
“My Auto” is an app for personal vehicle record keeping, including mileage, trips, expenses, maintenance, refueling or charging, photos of documents, receipts and service orders, and statistics based on the data entered by the User.
The App is intended only for personal informational record keeping. It does not provide professional automotive, technical, financial, tax, legal, insurance, safety, or maintenance advice. You are solely responsible for decisions related to vehicle maintenance, expenses, safety, taxes, warranty, insurance, and any other matters.
3. Right to use the App
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms, App Store rules, and applicable law.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, decompile, reverse engineer, bypass technical restrictions, or otherwise use the App in a way not permitted by these Terms, except where such actions are expressly permitted by applicable law.
All rights to the App, its interface, design, texts, graphics, structure, software code, and other materials belong to the Developer or other rights holders. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or any of its elements to you.
4. Registration and local data storage
No account registration is required to use the App.
Data that you enter into the App or record with it, including vehicle details, mileage, trips and their routes, expenses, maintenance records, refueling or charging records, categories, photos, receipts, and other entries, is stored locally on your device unless expressly stated otherwise in the App or in the Privacy Policy.
The Developer does not store copies of your vehicle records on the Developer’s own servers and does not have access to your locally stored vehicle data. This does not include limited technical and usage analytics processed through Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you delete the App, reset your device, delete App data, or lose your device, your data may be permanently lost. You are responsible for creating and storing backups if such functionality is available in the App.
Backup import and export features, if available, are provided for your convenience. You are responsible for the safety, transfer, storage, and protection of backup files from unauthorized access.
5. Camera, photos, and receipt recognition
The App may request access to your camera or photo library so that you can attach photos of receipts, service orders, vehicle maintenance documents, or use automatic entry based on a receipt photo.
If the App uses text recognition from images, it is intended only to simplify data entry. Receipt recognition is performed locally on the device in the current version. Photos, receipt images, and recognized receipt text are not sent to the Developer’s servers or to Firebase Analytics.
You are responsible for checking the accuracy of recognized amounts, dates, fuel volume, charging values, mileage, currencies, measurement units, and other values before saving a record.
The Developer is not responsible for recognition errors, incorrect input, or consequences of decisions made based on automatically recognized data.
6. Trip recording and location data
The App can record your trips, including the route travelled, the distance covered, and the start and end time of each trip.
For this purpose the App requests access to your device’s location, including access while the App is in the background. The permission is requested the first time you start recording a trip. If the “Auto-record” feature is enabled in the App’s settings, the App may detect the start and the end of a trip by itself and record trips without any separate action from you.
Granting location access is optional. Without this permission the App continues to work, and you can enter trips and mileage manually. The permission can be withdrawn or restricted at any time in iOS settings.
The accuracy of the route, the distance covered, and trip times depends on satellite signal quality, device characteristics and settings, low power mode, iOS background execution limits, and other factors outside the Developer’s control. Recorded trips are provided for reference only.
You are responsible for checking recorded trip data before using it for calculations, reporting, or any other purpose where accuracy matters.
The Developer is not responsible for inaccuracies in trip recording, gaps in a recorded route, discrepancies in the distance covered, or consequences of decisions you make based on such data.
How trip data, including route coordinates, is stored is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Subscription and paid features
Some App features may be available only through a paid subscription or other App Store purchases. The specific set of paid features, price, subscription period, trial availability, and offer terms are shown in the App and/or on the App Store purchase screen before you subscribe.
Paid features may include, depending on the current App version and offer terms: automatic refueling entry from a receipt photo, adding multiple vehicles, saving all your expenses as a shareable PDF report, extended statistics, fuel tracking by month and year, attaching photos to records, and other features described in the App.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the App Store using your Apple ID. The Developer does not receive or store your payment details, including payment card information.
The App may send basic purchase-related analytics events to Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase, such as purchase start, successful purchase, purchase error, restore purchases action, and subscription type. These events do not include payment card information.
If the subscription is auto-renewable, it renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple ID / App Store settings. Deleting the App from your device does not cancel your subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Subscription prices may vary depending on country, currency, taxes, App Store rules, and available offers. The current price is always displayed on the purchase screen before you confirm the payment.
After cancellation, you will usually retain access to paid features until the end of the already paid period, unless App Store rules or the terms of a specific offer provide otherwise.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store rules. The Developer cannot independently process refunds for purchases made through the App Store, but may provide information needed to contact Apple Support where applicable.
8. Updates, feature changes, and availability
The Developer may release updates, bug fixes, interface changes, and may add, modify, or remove specific App features, provided this does not violate mandatory rights granted to you by applicable law.
The Developer aims to keep the App stable, but does not guarantee that the App will operate without errors, interruptions, incompatibility with specific devices, operating system versions, or user settings.
Some features may depend on device capabilities, iOS version, camera, photo library, or location permissions, iOS background execution limits, App Store availability, Apple rules, Firebase or Google Analytics availability, and other factors outside the Developer’s full control.
9. User responsibilities
You agree to use the App lawfully, in good faith, and only for personal purposes.
You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of data that you enter or import into the App. You are also responsible for checking automatically calculated or recognized values, including expenses, mileage intervals, the distance and routes of recorded trips, statistics, currencies, measurement units, and other indicators.
You may not use the App to violate third-party rights, unlawfully process other people’s data, bypass technical restrictions, interfere with the operation of the App or App Store, or perform any actions that violate applicable law.
10. Third-party services, analytics, and Apple rules
The App is distributed through the App Store, and purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Your use of the App Store, Apple ID, payments, subscriptions, family sharing, refunds, and other Apple features is governed by Apple’s terms and rules.
The App uses Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase for limited product analytics. Analytics may include technical, aggregated, and pseudonymous usage data and custom events about App features, as described in the Privacy Policy. Firebase Analytics is not used for advertising, behavioural advertising, or tracking users across third-party apps and websites.
The App does not use Firebase Auth, Firestore, Realtime Database, Remote Config, Crashlytics, AdMob, Google Ads, IDFA/AdSupport, or App Tracking Transparency permission in the current implementation described in the Privacy Policy.
Apple is not a party to these Terms between you and the Developer, except where expressly provided by Apple’s rules, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, or applicable law.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer makes no warranties that the App will fully meet your expectations, operate continuously, be error-free, or prevent data loss.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of backups, input, recognition, or trip recording errors, analytics service unavailability, or any decisions you make regarding vehicle maintenance, expenses, taxes, insurance, warranty, vehicle sale, or other matters based on data from the App.
The Developer’s liability is not excluded or limited where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
13. Intellectual property claims
If you believe that materials in the App infringe your rights, please contact the Developer at Myautoapp.iOS@yandex.ru and specify: which materials you believe infringe rights; which rights belong to you or the person you represent; how we can contact you; and what action you request.
The Developer may request additional information needed to review the claim, but will aim to request only information that is genuinely necessary to verify the claim.
14. Termination of use
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Deleting the App may result in the loss of locally stored data and does not cancel an active App Store subscription. To cancel a subscription, you must use your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.
The Developer may restrict access to specific features if you violate these Terms, App Store rules, or applicable law, where technically possible and legally permitted.
15. Changes to these Terms
The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page or in another accessible place. The effective date is shown at the beginning of the document.
Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms are published means that you accept the updated version, unless applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
16. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, except where mandatory laws of your country of residence provide you with additional rights or require the application of another law.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, or another country, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract. Such rights remain in effect regardless of these Terms.
17. Contact
